Refund policy
At Knothön, each piece is carefully handcrafted in limited quantities. We are committed to ensuring that your experience reflects the quality and care behind our creations.
1. 15-Day Return Policy (UAE Orders Only)
We offer a 15-day return window from the date of delivery for orders delivered within the United Arab Emirates.
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused.
The item must be in original condition.
All original packaging must be intact.
Proof of purchase must be provided.
Returns must be requested in advance by contacting:
support@knothon.ae
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
2. Hygiene & Baby Safety Policy
Due to the intimate and hygienic nature of baby sleep products:
Products that have been used, washed, assembled, or altered cannot be returned.
Mattresses and inner components that have been opened are non-returnable unless defective.
For hygiene and safety reasons, returns are strictly inspected before approval.
This policy ensures the health and safety of all families we serve.
3. Damages or Defective Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If your item arrives:
Damaged
Defective
Incorrect
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@knothon.ae with photos and order details.
If confirmed as defective, Knothön will:
Repair
Replace
Or issue a refund
in accordance with UAE Consumer Protection Law.
4. Exchanges
If a return is approved and you request an exchange:
The replacement item will be dispatched within 7–10 business days after inspection and approval.
Delivery timelines may vary based on location.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, you will be notified of approval status.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Processing time: up to 10 business days.
Banks may take additional time to post the transaction.
If more than 15 business days have passed after approval, please contact support@knothon.ae.
Refunds may be denied if the item:
Shows signs of use
Is damaged by the customer
Is missing packaging or components
Is returned beyond 15 days
6. International Orders
For orders delivered outside the UAE:
All sales are final.
Returns are accepted only if the product is defective upon arrival.
Shipping fees, customs duties, and import charges are non-refundable.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Knothön partners with trusted courier providers for delivery.
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not liable for:
Courier delays
Customs delays
Events beyond our reasonable control
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery.
8. Proper Use & Supervision
Knothön nests are designed for supervised rest and comfort.
Products must be used in accordance with provided safety guidelines.
Adult supervision is required at all times.
The nest is not intended as a substitute for a crib or unsupervised overnight sleep unless otherwise stated.
Failure to follow safety instructions voids eligibility for return or claims.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Knothön shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of the product.
In all cases, liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
10. Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
